Pods are slightly smaller than those of regular varieties but they are remarkably well filled with nuts of the finest quality. Flower stems drop to the ground and develop clusters of nuts just under the ground surface.
Available in 125 g packet.
CULTURAL PRACTICES: Plant three (3) seeds per mound in a warm and sandy soil. The groundnut grows best when summers are long and hot. Do not sow too deeply. HARVEST: Harvest after the first frost and let them dry in their hulls. Before eating cook the groundnut in the oven at 150° C (300° F).
