Pea Maple (Speckled)
Maple speckled peas are well known and appreciated by shoot lovers, but they also give great pea sprouts. Soak them for 8 hours, rinse and drain twice a day. Their taste is semisweet / bittersweet and very fresh. They are rich in vitamins, calcium, iron, phosphorus, amino acids, and proteins.
Soak (hours); 8 - 12 Rinse/drain per day: 2 - 3 Harvest (days): 2 – 3 sprouts / 10 – 14 microgreens Yield (weight ratio): 2 : 1 sprouts / 1 : 1 microgreens
