Early parsnip. Albion produces nice, white roots with a sweet taste. Its shallow collar makes it easy to clean.
CULTURAL PRACTICES: Sow very early, as soon as the soil is ready (temperature of 16° C). The seeds must be sown closely enough because germination is difficult. SOIL: A sandy soil, in which there is not too much fertilizer, is ideal. HARVEST: Pull up roots at the end of October or leave outside, covered with mulch, to be pulled up the next spring.
